HSRAANZ 2017 is excited to announce Queensland Health as our conference Principal Partner. This valuable partnership invites and promotes collaborations between practicing clinicians and academics, with the conference a significant event for health service researchers and executives from Australia, and abroad.

Queensland Health actively promotes and drives integrated care through the Clinical Excellence Division (CED). A key initiative of CED, the $35 million Integrated Care Innovation Fund (ICIF) enables state-wide Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) and Primary Health Networks (PHNs) to develop and progress new models of care and innovative approaches to integrated service delivery. ICIF projects bring together patients, providers, and government, and integration of key services aims to reduce costs, improve outcomes, and provide a platform for how care will be delivered in the future.

Deputy-Director General Dr John Wakefield will attend the conference as session chair for the keynote session: The art of compromise: Collaboration between researchers and practitioners to support integrated care. The ICIF will present five key projects in an opening conference symposium.

The conference, hosted by AusHSI will be held on 1-3 November at the Surfers Paradise Marriott.

Early bird registrations close on the 30th September http://event.icebergevents.com.au/hsraanz-2017/registration
