Wendell Cockshaw
Senior Research Fellow – Statistics
Wendell is a statistician who holds tertiary qualifications in psychology and electronic engineering. His research experience spans digital health, mental health, and health service delivery. His expertise includes all aspects of health research design and statistics. His interests include measurement of the symptoms of high prevalence mental health conditions, psychometric evaluation, and structural equation modelling. He has worked in several multidisciplinary health contexts in research areas including digital health clinical trials, perinatal psychology, diabetes care, and cancer care.
Wendell’s current research includes investigation of scales employed to measure mental health in specific populations and the development and implementation of digital health interventions. He is also passionate about research design and data collection, and is developing a social-cognitive model of depression aetiology.
