Pakhi Sharma is a Research Fellow and PhD candidate at AusHSI. Her recently submitted PhD in health economics explores preferences for neurodevelopmental follow-up care for children using robust choice methods, particularly discrete choice experiments (DCEs). During her PhD, she worked as a research assistant on the CHD LIFE+ project, gaining experience in economic modelling of cardiac neurodevelopmental pathways.
In her current role, Pakhi continues to contribute to CHD LIFE+ through economic modelling and evaluations. She is also engaged in other projects involving DCEs and economic evaluations. Her research interests include preference methodologies, economic evaluations, cardiac and neurodevelopmental care, as well as virtual health. Pakhi is particularly passionate about advancing methodological approaches to ensure accurate insights that translate into practice.
