AusHSI has developed a wide range of useful healthcare tools, guidelines and training resources which are free for researchers and health professionals to access and use. Take a look through the list below.

Aushsi shiny apps

Visual Checklist – Visualisation tool for summarising study adherence to reporting checklists as a useful addition to systematic and scoping reviews.

ShinyPrior – Supports the estimation of probability distributions based on published estimates for use in health economic modelling.

Cost effective clinical prediction models – Visualisation tool for clinical prediction model cutpoint selection methods.

ShinyEQBayes – Shiny app that uses MCMC to combine EQ5D and EQVAS utility estimates.

baseline – Detecting under- or over-dispersion in a baseline table from a randomised controlled trial.

Nicole White’s github repository – Code repository for Nicole’s research projects.

maps

Australian Cancer Atlas – An online, interactive platform showing how measures relating to cancer diagnosis, survival, recognised risk factors, screening, and selected hospital treatment vary by small geographical areas across Australia.

iTRAQI: injury Treatment and Rehabilitation Accessibility Queensland Index – iTRAQI shows regions in Queensland where gaps in accessible, specialised time-critical care exist.

Queensland Injury Atlas – Models injury hospitalisations by patient residential statistical area 2 (SA2), gender, broad age groups (children, young adult, working age, seniors or total) and type of injury to identify injury variations above or below the State average.

tools

Costing implementation strategies (Cost-IS) – Cost-IS is an instrument for costing implementation strategies in the healthcare setting.
