Jaimi Greenslade
Principal Research Fellow – Value-based Care
Jaimi Greenslade joins AusHSI as a Principal Research Fellow, funded by an Advance Queensland Research fellowship. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), a PhD in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Statistics. Jaimi has spent more than 10 years conducting health research in the Emergency Department at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Jaimi’s research focusses on the provision of value-based care in the emergency department. Her fellowship project is a multi-centre intervention study to reduce low-value care and incorporate shared decision making into the assessment of chest pain. She has previously worked on a broad range of topics in the emergency setting, including projects on the risk stratification of chest pain, the emergency assessment of sepsis, end-of-life care, and reducing unnecessary cannula use.
Jaimi is the data analytics officer for the Value Based Healthcare team at Metro North Hospital and Health Services. She provides expertise in statistics and program evaluation to support the team in increasing the provision of value-based care across the health service.
